Recently a Farmer Meeting was held at Pajia in
Kapurthala, which focused on the cultivation of
various melon varieties including watermelon
Mannat, Jannat, Aarohi, Vishala and melons Sunrise
and Bobby. The event included special lectures
from experts, imparting valuable information and
practical knowledge to the local farmers. Mr.
Virendra Khokhar delivered an informative lecture
covering several important aspects of melon
cultivation: Importance of soil fertility for
healthy melon growth. Mridula and Sonia presented
best practices for cultivation and planting of
watermelon Mannat, Jannat, Aarohi, Vishala and
melon. Rehan Sir gave a practical presentation on
cultivation methods and nursery methods.
